ESTATE PLANNING GEMS is a practical workshop that will address some estate planning solutions from the toolkit of a fee-only estate planner/chartered accountant.

This session explores how to apply the requirements of CAS 505 in a practical, risk-focused way. Participants will learn when and how to use confirmations, how to assess their reliability, and how to respond to non-responses or exceptions.

Outsourced but Accountable: Use of a Service Organization (CAS 402)

This course provides auditors with a practical, hands-on understanding of CAS 402 and how it fits into the audit process.

Mastering Inventory Audits: Existence, Costs and Valuation (CAS 501)

Inventory is often one of the riskiest and most judgmental areas of the audit. This practical training equips auditors with the skills to test inventory counts, costs, WIP and valuation effectively.

Accounting Update and Refresher

This course will consist of a review of recent and pending developments in ASPE and ASNPO. It will also include a refresher on various topics in ASPE. Cases will be used to illustrate the concepts.

Related Parties and Transactions (ASPE 3840)

This course provides auditors with an in-depth, practical understanding of Section 3840 of the Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) Related Party Transactions.
