During this two-hour session, you will develop a writing style that is clear and convincing. In turn, you will increase the number of clients who reply to you with a positive response, and you will decrease the time that it takes for your co-workers to read your writing.
These two outcomes will go straight to your bottom line.
Agenda
This course is intended for professionals who are required to explain technical concepts through written forms of communication.
During the course, we will create a checklist for drafting effective emails and documentation.
The first half of this session will focus on Clarity in Business Writing. In an engaging format, we will cover five techniques that are used to avoid misunderstandings. By applying these techniques, you will ensure that your readers can fully comprehend your emails and documentation – even when the subject is technical in nature.
The second half of the session will focus on Email Dos and Don’ts. The subtopics in this half of the course will include email length, response time, subject lines, tone, formality, copying, and pleasantries, such as, “I hope all is well.”
