2024 Tax Season Updates

In this webinar we will brief you on some of the new tax measures of which you may want to be aware when preparing for your 2023 tax season, including First Home Savings Account (FHSA), residential property flipping rules, working from home expenses, new trust reporting requirements. If you need a refresher on certain T1 items, we will discuss some of the common transactions, such as bond taxation, death of a TFSA holder and a RRSP/RRIF annuitant, superficial loss rules, etc. Finally, we will also review some of the latest CRA rulings that may impact your 2023 T1 filings.
