Audit Refresher

This course will review the steps in performing a financial statement audit. It will begin by reviewing Canadian Audit Standards overall and then move on to typical audit deficiencies identified by practice inspection.

Other Engagements

This course explores various engagements practitioners may perform, including attestation (CSAE 3000/3001) and reports on supplementary matters (CSRS 4460). Understanding the requirements helps determine the appropriate report type.

Efficient File Reviews

This course will discuss performing engagements and aspects of file review, documentation standards, including types, objectives, and strategies.

The New Compilation Standard

The new Compilation Standard (CSRS 4200) is mandatory for fiscal years ending after December 14, 2021. This course will be a comprehensive review of the requirements of the Standard. A case study will be used to illustrate the material.
